Is renting through Truckwave legal?
Yes. Truckwave has developed Regulated Truck Sharing™ — a standardised B2B subleasing model designed around leasing and insurance rules. We have prepared agreement templates, compliance processes and legal workflows with leasing partners.
Do I need telematics in my vehicle?
CAN/GPS telematics is much more than a technical requirement — it can reduce operating costs. It monitors fuel use, driving patterns and vehicle loads, while AI helps optimise driving economy and routes. The system detects early warning signs, helping prevent expensive breakdowns and downtime. It also supports service planning and component wear monitoring, lowering costs and extending fleet life.
How does escrow work, and is my money safe?
Funds are held in an escrow account and released only after telematics confirms that the vehicle has been returned in the expected condition. The proposed system is designed around PSD2 and banking integrations, reducing the risk of unpaid rentals and damage disputes.
Can I rent out a leased vehicle?
Truckwave has developed processes intended to comply with the terms of leading leasing providers in Poland and the EU. We provide agreement templates and documentation. If needed, our team can help review your specific leasing contract.
How quickly can I start using the platform?
Registration and KYC verification take under 45 seconds. Company onboarding takes around four minutes, and adding a vehicle less than two minutes. From registration to first booking, you can get started the same day.
In which countries is Truckwave available?
The platform currently operates in Poland. Expansion to Czechia, Slovakia and the DACH markets (Austria, Germany) is planned for 2026. Our long-term goal is a European fleet rental standard across the EU.
